starting problems
anyone got any idears
i have been out and tryed to start the bongo this morning its been stood for around a week. there is charge in the battery and the enging turns over it seems to go to fire up but just will not start
its a 2.5 diesel on a p plate if that helps.
i have tryed to turn the key wait for the click then turn the key off and back on again so as to make sure the glow plugs are warm.
it has been throwing out a fair bit of white smoke when i got it started of late but i guessed that was just hte time of year.

my cold start was set to idle to high, don't press the throttle at all as the ecu will turn the glowplugs off

Re: starting problems
look for a fuel leak around the return links at the injectors, is your glowplug buss bar touching on the link pipes, and has burned/rubbed through.
