rear heater

help fellow bongo worshippers a week ago i had the heater on in the van and the rear heating was working fine but it suddenly cut out i just put it down to a blow fuse but i have since checked all the fuses and they are fine help !!

Dodgy switch that isolates the rear fan....?? Maybe the contacts need a clean up..?
Cheaper by comparison to a race horse...

On the lower dash by yer right knee.. Has a fan on it & orange light when on....?
Cheaper by comparison to a race horse...

I take it the rear heater matrix is still getting hot...? Just the fan not working..?!!

If you've got digital heater controls in the front then there will be a button marked Rear which should light up green when pressed.

no not digital took the switch out today but no luck no fan at all still broken ?

Hi
I'm afraid it's probably a case of take the rear trim out, and check whether you have power at the fan...I replaced my motor. WORD OF WARNING...don't remove the trim 'till summer, as the plastic which holds the trim clips in place is very brittle in winter, and will likely break, leaving you with nowhere to fit the clips back on!
