I got a switch out of a 626 as a replacement.. The original was butchered by the previous Jap owner..

The cameras a bit sensitive, but in the dark...

I also got it to go red when i hit the panic button, the van locks down & the windows roll up... The 626 rocker switch is wired different to the Bongo's

Cheaper by comparison to a race horse...

Re: Window switch bulbs
jaylee's job sounds better than my ideal as he's used back lit switches im using miniture LED (blue) fitted (drilled) into the indentations of the switch cover, new micro wiring from the LED's through the doorway into the cab eventually linking up to the sidelights, Im not sure if Jaylee's ideal is easier work wise than mine he sounds like he has a sound understanding of electronic's so if I had'nt started mine my way I would have adopted his ........ but at the moment its far too cold to carry on with the work!winchman wrote:How?

I just bunged a couple of spare LEDs in the gap so as not to foul the switches....mentaliss wrote:jaylee's job sounds better than my ideal as he's used back lit switches im using miniture LED (blue) fitted (drilled) into the indentations of the switch cover, new micro wiring from the LED's through the doorway into the cab eventually linking up to the sidelights, Im not sure if Jaylee's ideal is easier work wise than mine he sounds like he has a sound understanding of electronic's so if I had'nt started mine my way I would have adopted his ........ but at the moment its far too cold to carry on with the work!winchman wrote:How?
