Re: BMW clock connection
This involves pulling the clock to bits....removing the orange filter and putting in a green LED (polarity sensitive)
Or send just the clock to me with £7.50 and I will do the job and post back.

I did find a BMW digital clock in the scrappy, but cant get it to light as its got 4 wires? Any ideas?
Re: BMW clock connection
If its anything like the gauges i fitted? It will have two wires for the negative & positive of the actual clock.. Then the other two Positive to the dash light loom & the other to ground... Designed to back light with the dash when the sidelights come on...?
What are your clock four wire colours...?

Being an engineer I have broken far more expensive things than a BMW clock LOLhaydn callow wrote:winchman wrote:Thanks I will have a go.haydn callow wrote:This involves pulling the clock to bits....removing the orange filter and putting in a green LED (polarity sensitive)

If you leave it on for just over a minute, does it say "00:01"?winchman wrote: The digital one I can get to light up but just displays zeros?

Re: BMW clock connection
Hey Winchman, it wouldn't happen to have an exterior temp gauge on the readout too would it??
I got hold of something similar from a 626, but gutted it for a temp gauge for the coolant...
