hold light flashing

hi peeps

well i just took the eldest home from flicks when i noticed i had no speedo and the hold light was flashing ,but when i switched off the engine and back on again all was well ,should i be concerned about this or is it usual bongo jiggery pokery

If your speedo is chipped to read in MPH,I think its a sign that the chips duff

there have been reports of the speedo chip acting up and causing this type of thing, if it persists remove the clocks and check for loose wires where its been wired in, or check the screws on the back of the clocks, make sure they are nipped up, BUT NOT OVERTIGHT.

Hi.
It happens to ours a couple of times a month....switching off and on again sorts it....I had the reason explained once....somthing to do with the pulses getting out of sync....nothing to worry about.
