leave room for the pipe to go on.and make sure the slots in the roll pins are missaligned and air/vac tight.

For now though iv just managed to bodge a repair
Where the stub was snapped flush to the solenoid (the vertical stubs) i very carefully managed to file/trim it down to the base as it actually sits against the main body of the solenoid,after removing the excess plastic i slightly flattened one side of some silicone vacuum hose and managed to get a very tight fit over the small stub that i formed
Just waiting for the sealant that i generousy covered it all with to dry and will give it a test,fingers crossed it will work
