Hi,
My sliding door is jammed shut. I've read the fact sheet but still can't get it open. Looking at the fuse box, I am surprised that it's a fuse and not a relay for this.
Can I confirm there is definitely no relays involved in the soft close mechanism?
Thanks

Re: Sliding door stuck - relays?
Usualy its caused by the closing system not completing its cycle
Its been known for a good thump halfway up the front of the door on the inside to clear it.
or removing the door card and knocking the micro switch in the door which should reset the system

The relays are in the box at the back of the fixed contacts;

Never heard of the relays giving a problem, its always the microswitch inside the door that is the cause of grief .... so far
Middle of the door 1/3 up from the bottom and it needs a a REALLY SOLID THUMP or two or more, allegedly
Not had the problem myself ... yet

That'd be thumping it from the INSIDE i take it Geoff?

Yes, and it has to be a THWUMP about a third up with the flat of the hand about three attempts and enough to hurt your hand
