I would think it is the scavenge fan that is being referred to, to give better access to the front of the engine - part no 15 035 on the diagram here. you can see the fixing points on the fan http://www.lushprojects.com/bongopartsm ... mgno=.html it should be reasonably self evident how to remove it when you're under there?
