how do you remove the engine fan

fitting a new water pump and on the fact sheet its says

2. Climb underneath. (I removed the engine fan so I had somewhere to rest my
head!)

how to you remove the engine fan cant find a fact sheet on it

I would think it is the scavenge fan that is being referred to, to give better access to the front of the engine - part no 15 035 on the diagram here. you can see the fixing points on the fan http://www.lushprojects.com/bongopartsm ... mgno=.html it should be reasonably self evident how to remove it when you're under there?

its the big electricfan as she says

removing it i found the hardest part of the job

as the jap who put it in

must have had hands a tenth the size of mine
