"Hold" warning light

As a newbie, can anyone tell me what the "Hold" warning light above the (erratic) temperature gauge means? Many thanks

I means you've pushed the Hold button on the side of the gear lever :lol: This will stop it from reaching top gear. Push the button again and the light should go out 8)

See this post HERE - it explains it all in a little more detail as there is more to it that just not getting 4th gear.
