Colin

Dunno if this is of any help to you, I was too lazy to go the whole hog and wire up indicators etc and mounted mine in the door, 2 connections to Bongo and 2 to the actuator, then stuck it to inside of door panel. But if your control unit is the same then there is a good chance your loom coming off it is the same too :D

heres my wiring diagram connected the 12volt possatives, and the negatives, to facilitate the change over relays which operate the actuator

Scott which one did you buy out of interest? Did you go for a 4 door kit and use one of the actuators or buy the kit with out and buy an extra one to add on.

I want to do it cuse it's a pain to have to keep going round to the drivers door and it will be usefull to have the trunk release when im loading my bike in. 8)

Neal
Neal, a separate trunk release will require an actuator & wiring through & into the tailgate..? Maybe using somthing like this..? http://www.in-car-stuff.com/shop/falcon ... p-122.html If it's a negative trigger (like mine which is incorporated with my alarm system.) will need to be converted using a relay  http://www.the12volt.com/relays/page1.asp to actuate the boot.
Where as a remote CL system will at least unlock everything at the same time!
Just thought i'd set you up for what you might be in for fitting/installation wise!

There is a actuator in the boot, im not sure yet if the feed from the central locking feeds the side door before the back door or if there is a separate feed that goes to the back door from the dash...

If it goes directly from the dash then its a piece of cake to open the back door independently, cut the existing feed, wire in a diode (1N5408 will do) and put the new trunk release after this. The diode will stop the boot release feeding back and opening the doors too :D

In theory, I haven't checked the wiring yet though [-o<

Scott, good point! :D I was thinking more along the lines of an actual boot popper.. #-o The type that pulls on the mechanism & free's the tailgate catch, then all you have to do is lift the tailgate.. Like on those fancy shmansy handle-less show cars??

Sweet idea, :P if there's a chance of doing it without pulling apart too much of the loom, or the head lining..?
