automatic gearbox oil

Can anyone tell me the types and amounts of oil required for the automatic gearbox, transfer box and rear differential on a 1999 4WD Bongo? Just had a repaired gearbox fitted but not sure about the oil.

Sandy, have emailed you. :D

Transfer Case = 1.6 litres of GL5
ATF = 5 litres of Dextron 3
Rear Diff = 1.4 litres of GL5 (or GL6 if you have Limited Slip Differential)

If the gearbox has been reconditioned/repaired, you may need more than 5 litres, it depends how much work has been done & how much oil was draind from the torque converter, cooler & pipework & all the rest of the gubbins. The most I've had to replace on one so far is about 7 litres.
Keep us posted on how much you have to use, make sure you check the level with engine warmed up properly, running, both brakes on range slowly through the gears , let it settle in D, & take the reading with it running. Check it again after 50 miles or so after filling up.
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.
