Unfortunately the fuel additives may be better, but there's no check on storage conditions and it all comes from the same tanks at the depot

Exactly.... which is why with my symptoms I checked out the usual suspects first.... filters etc

Mind you the garage was concerned that the fact they cam timing was out and then the spanner monkey had tweaked the diesel pump, this was a contributing factor with the pump failure, but possible not an absolute cause....I did ask the veg oil question and was told if the quantities/ratio is okay then no problem...it was just shocking to see all that metallic swarf that was in my injectors....

Still at least I am almost maintenance free for a while..... new Cambelt and other drive belts done, and with a full stainless zorst and a K&N recently... just got to do the filters, tyres, bulbs and other regular consumables...when required, now where is the ignition key, I feel another drive is needed... :D :D

Well it was Bell Hill or Wheelquick to sort out my Diesel pump issue and Bell Hill was closer for me and suited my circumstances....
They did try everything before changing the pump, and with the difference the new cam belt, timing set up has made along with as new injectors....... I now wonder if some of the Bongos I have driven and travelled in need some attention... :?: :?:
Again... well done Bell Hill... =D>
