You have to buy the whole unit I'm afraid, or do a bodge. The units are in the "exterior" section of shop.

You will in all likelyhood need a complete replacement rear lamp i'm afraid. In SOME cases repair tape can be used, but it's not ideal really.

There are three different types of lamp for the bongo... The early type have an orange coloured indicator section, the facelift type have the indicator section in a clear plastic, the latest type is substantially different. Please check which type you'll need before placing an order (wherever you do source one from).

In the meantime, (whilst a light is being sourced) Pop round to your local car accessory shop and ask for a bulb with a red globe instead of clear, as it's illegal to show a clear/white light to the rear. Failing that, treat yourself to a box of Cadbury's roses, you will find that the red transparent wrapper to the "Brazilian darkness" choccy will wrap nicely around the globe of your bulb, meaning your light glows red till you can get it repaired properly!

I wasn't (of course) advocating that the lamp should be sourced via e-bay... It was a convenient source of pics to differentiate from one type of lamp to another...

If it is just a small(ish) hole like mine had then it is repairable with some rigid plastic in a kit, let me know and if you want one I can always get it from my famous "What" shop for a couple of quid and post it to you no probs. I found the light cluster on evil bay to be around £70 or so which is a stupid price, just because it has the name bongo parts are at a criminal price.

Most of the larger cheapy type shops tend to stock the repair kits for a pound or two with the appropriate hard coloured plastic panels you cut to size, I always carry some with me.
