I've only heard the induction noise when i got the seats up poking around, it does have an annoying droning noise from the scoop up front under the bonnet tho  kinda like if you open and close your mouth while letting your cheeks fill with air noise :? i put it down as character  wait until the evaporator valve on your carbon canistor starts to show it's age and constantly click click clic click when poodling along  now that is annoying

The noise is most def the air intake.

TBH its doing my head in!!

Some of you have mentioned that you cannot hear anything in the cab - do your bonnets have sound deadening installed.

Recirculates unburnt fuel thru the canistor all to do with the egr it's under your passenger side

the big round thing is the canistor the valve is the electrical jobby at the side of, sorry im not clever enough to draW lines around it, mine has clicked away from the day i got it, alot of cars do it only difference is you are sat on it so when the passenger window is open it's annoying, usually they are up front under the bonnet so not usually notice by joe average
