what happens when a Bongo diesel is started

Post by ronhud » Mon Jun 15, 2009 11:54 pm

I have the impression from comments in several posts that when the diesel engine is started some sort of routine takes place with the turbo etc over the first few minutes. Could someone give a description of this event(s), it would be helpful to understand the different noises on startup and drive away.
Thanks
Ron

It starts to spin when enough exhaust gases to make it spin go through it.
