Hi, I am fitting a third brake light to the top of my rear window on a Ford Freda and wonder if anyone can tell me the best or easiest point at which to hook up to the existing circuit??
With thanks,

Re: Third rear brake light
Welcome to the forum
Don't know if there's a loom in the tailgate as spoilers have a brake light
Otherwise you'll have to tap into the rear lamp cluster.

Does this link help?
Allans Garage retired. Try PGS (Plymouth Garage Services) or Mayflower Auto Services Plymouth

Hi, firstly do you have a rear spoiler with brakelight? if so then tap in to that, by taking off the rear spoiler and the wires are conected inside the top of the door by a conector block that branches off to the rear light clusters.
If you dont try striping the top rear drivers side plastic trim, the one at the very back where the rear tailgate buts up against when its shut. there might be the conector block already there that normally branches off to the rear spoiler for the light.
