Several things were done to acheive this
1 - Radiator backflushed & Holts 2 part rad flush put through the cooling system with thermostat removed
2 - New thermostat fitted (tested in a pan of water - new one opened sooner than old one)
3 - Intercooler, pipework & air intake manifold cleaned/flushed/degunked
4 - ATF, pipework & cooler drained, filter & sump cleaned & refilled.
Running along the Puddletown Bypass doing 70mph +, I used to be able to get it to go up to 116 degrees & sometimes off scale (120 degrees). On the way up & then on the way back, I could not get it above 106 degrees - no matter how hard I tried (not telling you how hard


The Mason assisted temperature gauge was showing just above 120clock.
I'm suspecting the new stat contributes most of this reduction in running temp, but I'm sure the other measures have contributed, either way - I'm much happier
