Post by peanutcrusher » Mon Apr 13, 2009 10:08 am

how often should i be checking my oil? once a week :? or few thousand miles, or is this to often. Also how often should i be checking the coolant and what should i be looking for, do i just look at the outside of the bottle under the bonnet and make sure it above the low line is this enough.

Hi PNC. Once a week is good, and 'yes'. Keep an eye on the age of both fluids also, relative to recommended change intervals - lots of advice on here if you use the search facility, and don't have the owner's manual (available at the Bongo Shop). Cheers.

Oh, and re coolant level, a low coolant alarm is a good investment - again, lots of info here via 'search.
