Passenger Side window help.
The passenger side window on my bongo has stopped working. Everything else works. Any ideas what could be the problem

Re: Passenger Side window help.
It could be a few things
1) Hold switch on the Drivers switch on
2) Broken wire between the door
3) Dirty connections in switch
4) Broken switch

Re: Passenger Side window help.
Broken wire in the loom where it goes from bodyshell to door.
Common failure due to the tight cable tie thing that holds the loom to the hinge creasing the wires and they eventually break..

Thanks for your reply,
I know its not the hold switch. Not hot on electrics, what the best way to go about tracing the fault?

Re: Passenger Side window help.
hi there see if there is any power at the n/s switch or earth for that matter?
Re: Passenger Side window help.
Yep, try the passenger switch.. If that don't work either.
The driver door looms the best bet!!
Make sure to check the wire under the grommet cowling thing in the door & body panel as well as where the loom bends to the door hinge clip..

Cheaper by comparison to a race horse...
