Daft Daffy Bash, 13th to 15th March.

If you are going away somewhere and don't mind meeting up with other Bongo owners or if you've been somewhere & want to tell us about it & stick up your photos, put the details here.

Hot/cold/sweet/savoury or even liquid - anything remotely edible is fine.

He knows what he's talking about - he did it in 1962 LWB landrover :P
This is true, in 1989 I used 73 gallons of juice, that's got to be about £350.00 at today's rates

Has anyone any thoughts or advice if Mrs Max & me go this way?
Quickest route is M5, M6 A55 but is 210 miles this way is 162 miles and looks a lot more scenic. :D

I came back from the Welsh Bash last October this way. Beautiful scenic route, but a lot of hills and bends. You get to see a lot of Wales this way.

Some of the small roads round Betwys Garmon are narrow and steep. The Nantgwynant pss between Betwys-y-Coed and Bedgellert and the Aberglastyn pass Bedgelert to Portmadoc are best avoided if you have a trailer. I got the Bongo through both and I am sure a lot of others did, but both are narrow and steep. Beware the Welsh bus as well.

Probably best to take the A487 to Caernarfon from Porthmadoc. Longer but less vertigo
