fuel gauge
Anyone had problems with their fuel gauge playing up? Sometimes the needle does'nt move at all and at other times when I know the tank is full or close to full it gives a much lower reading and starts to slowly decrease. Any advice would be appreciated.
Re: fuel gauge
Not had the problem myself, but others on here have had similar. The best place to start looking is the earth connection at the sender unit, or so I have read.
Re: fuel gauge
Thanks but where would i find the sender unit

Mine seems to stick at 3/4 full when I fill it to the brim. It does go down, but slower than expected. I seem to have been on just over half a tank for ages though.... for all I know it could be running on fumes!

I'd say fuel sender again. Mind you, on another thread you've mentioned your RPM readout as being at variance with other peeps. Is it possible that the various instruments on the panel rely on a common earth which - in your Bongo - is behaving badly?

Re: fuel gauge
Mine seems to move towards 'empty' alarmingly quickly for some reason.....

Re: fuel gauge
Many thanks all. Will check out sender unit and earth at weekend. You are a helpful lot.
