Broken dashboard vents - advice

Post by Markski » Fri Nov 28, 2008 11:59 pm

I've got two broken dashboard vents and I have got replacements from BongoBits. On a scale of 1 to 10 how complicated is it replace the vents.

Has anyone who has done the job got any words of advice.

Cheers

Mark

Don't do it  http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... hilit=vent , not a vast amount of help, but it is possible. Which ones need replacing? If it's the side ones I think they're a bit easier as the end panel on the dash comes out.
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

One is the drivers door side & the other is one of the central vents. Will investigate the side vent, would be happy with one out of two.

Thanks for your honest opinion.
