References on this forum to the oil required for the autobox state it should be DEXRON 3.

It's been amended to clarify the answer. Both will do the job. If possible, use Dexron 111 which has a higher boiling point etc, but some people have had trouble finding it. Dexron 11 has been easier to find and members have used it without reporting problems.
