OK, looks like most of you were right as not only was the banjo filter full of crud , so was the whole fuel tank which has had to be taken out and flushed clean. Looks like it had been running Bio and when I added ordinary diesel had some cleansing action pulling fatty deposits from the base of the tank. The fuel pump is OK thank goodness but still a hefty bill to pay! Just want my Bongo back!
