If you are going away somewhere and don't mind meeting up with other Bongo owners or if you've been somewhere & want to tell us about it & stick up your photos, put the details here.

Ok - So I don't buggy or board ..... yet but I am trying to persuade Jill to take a trip to BLS sometime. Met up with the Racekites lot at Ainsdale last year icl Perry \:D/ and enjoyed watching loads of "nutters" flying huge kites in strong winds (my 2M gave me a good spanking)

Sadly Jill has a load of diy lined up for me - consumer unit (sorry, I did not say that - did I?) Kitchen and Conservatory  so I am not a happy Bunny ](*,)

I will prevail sometime (I have tried to flog Silverdale but the kitchen arrives that weekend)

Is BLS any good for kitesurfing? Were not really set up for land now as we've sold most of land kiting stuff.

Mike I need to come visit my dad in Adlington sometime soon so will let you know and perhaps we could catch up, swing by Wheelquick for a browse of the pimpage and then on to Ainsdale. Keep up racking up the brownie points and your kiting karma will return

bls is really suited best for buggying but have seen some kite surfing on there. when the tide goes out it goes for miles.

I bought one of these
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :IT&ih=013
It is very nice but will cost you £53 all told. Now i saw something similar on the Flexifoil website made from a swivelling scaffold bracket. I will post the topic here but i don't know if you need to be a member to view it, here goes

I think that the trip to silverdale will be well worth the effort. You can check out our couplings(oooooeeerrrr) and i am hoping to convert some adventurous bongoliers too, the more experienced kiters the better.

I would be up for that mike - cant really suggest any beaches as the ones I use mostly require membership of the local club.
I am quite happy to travel though and by the sound of it,bls would be worth the trip.

I will deffo be up for a kite meet.

I bought the Bongo so I could get out kiteing more.
Think I have spent more Bongoing at various northwest meets than kiteing.
Did get out to Norway but sadly no trip to this year as the ferry service has been cancelled!

Lets hope for better weather this year.
High winds = good kiteing. High winds = aaaargh how much can my AutoFreeTop take?
