100 amp fuse...

can someone tell me if the blue 100 amp fuse behind the main battery is male or female mine has welded itself in and someone has wrapped fuse wire around it and i need to sort it pronto but they are a fiver each and if i told you how much i have spent on this motor this month i would faint and so would you... cheers..neil..

It's not welded, it's bolted on from underneath and is a sod to get off. Can't remember if it's male or female though.......

it has 2 prongs that go into the fuse holder, then a bolt goes through the side of the fuse holder and into the prongs, holding it in place

the blue 100 amp fuse is male (with prongs ) and has two 10 mil bolts holding it in , i fond it easier to remove battery clamp and gently pull thick red wire to access bolt at the back of the fuse box....
