Thanks Keefy, for a good description of the new shape's bumper workings, that's really informative. I guess I did wonder why you didn't have the inset spots on yours, though I do like your full bull bars. I was thinking more of an A bar funnily enough, but now wondering if it's something I should really do, not too keen on cutting if you know what I mean. If there is a way of putting inset spots in that would be great, I like Ste's idea of small ones, if it is possible to cut a clean shape without the bolts showing like keefy says. :-k

Hmm, now another thought had today was, does anybody know the dimensions of a the fogs on a mazda 6? It probably sounds mad, but I saw these and the 6 has similar styling to the 'new shape' bongos, so I thought I might go find one and measure up, I'm suspecting they'd be too narrow, but if anybody knows...

If you are looking for suitable Mazda ones to fit the openings the Mazda 323 99 - 01 and the Premacy 99 - 01 are the models to be looking at. Demon AV put this in the Compatible Parts thread. :)
If I had all the money I ever spent on my Freda ............ I`d spend it on my Freda.

Well spotted Ian, i didn't know that.

Great post by keefy too, i didn't rrealize the new shape was lacking a flange for easy retro-fitting of fogs...That does throw a different light (pun not intended) onto the matter of fitting...

Cheers peeps. Are the fog lamps on the 323, the same as what's say fitted to this bongo then? I'm not well up on bongo bits as you've probably guessed
