Go for a nice drive and have a pub lunch. There is a little pub by the Churnet Valley Steam Railway in Cheddleton (where Ian Taylor used to be based - thats how I discovered it) with a charming pub called The Boat Inn (
http://www.the-boatinn.co.uk/ ). No doubt it will be busy today so have a fallback plan if need be for food, but you could drive up over the Cat and Fiddle (watch out for mad bikers), over the by the Roaches (Staffordshire Moors nr. Leek) and on the the pub. A nice drive for a Bongo.
Thats just one idea, but there are others near you (drive into the Bowland Forest and find a nice watering hole - lovely country).
Above all, have a great day. I'm doing chores myself and nagging kids to revise for exams. Wish I was getting out
Hope this note isnt too late to be of use
Mike
