Gibraltar Farm, Silverdale

Romantic Sunsets, Wooland Walks, Good pub food and cafes nearby.

A favourite with NW Bongo owners.

Try a search on this website or

I'll second this. I've never been on a Bongo "do" there but I've just spent a week with some home educators and we love the place. The best thing for me are the free hot showers, just the thing when you've been chasing an energetic 5 year old around all day. There is also a small garden centre, about 5 minutes walk away, which serves the most delicious cakes.

have fun where ever you decide to go.

Come to York - we need a reaso to make it a party. You will be more tha welcome.

Its a while since our first anniversary but I remember it well - we went to Butlins - without a child - does that make us sound sad and/or old?

Serious moment though dudes. Does the missus want to enjoy the peace and tranquility of Bongo camping just with hubby or is she a Bongo Nut and Party Animal. It all depends on the answer to that one 8)

Have fun either way cabte, and I can recommend the Bongo Tribe for company. If and when little feet arrive, they will love them too. I only wish I'd been able to havea Bongo when mine were little (my missus would not share that view though regrettably)

Go for a nice drive and have a pub lunch. There is a little pub by the Churnet Valley Steam Railway in Cheddleton (where Ian Taylor used to be based - thats how I discovered it) with a charming pub called The Boat Inn ( http://www.the-boatinn.co.uk/ ). No doubt it will be busy today so have a fallback plan if need be for food, but you could drive up over the Cat and Fiddle (watch out for mad bikers), over the by the Roaches (Staffordshire Moors nr. Leek) and on the the pub. A nice drive for a Bongo.

Thats just one idea, but there are others near you (drive into the Bowland Forest and find a nice watering hole - lovely country).

Above all, have a great day. I'm doing chores myself and nagging kids to revise for exams. Wish I was getting out :(

Hope this note isnt too late to be of use
