Are these standard on the Bongos?
If not does anyone else have one fitted?
and finally, what is it for?

not standard but allows the engine to keep running even after the keys have been taken out of the ignition. This is so the oil in the turbo has time to cool after a hard run. Some debate as to weather they are legal in the UKOggy Bongo wrote:I was having a root my new bongo recently found a techy looking black box behind the dash.

I have a turbo timer fitted to mine, a decent one will sense if anything other than park is engaged,or even if the handbrake is released,or if the engine is revved, as soon as any of these occur, the engine will immediately shut down, regardless of whatever "run - on" time has been dialled in...Oggy Bongo wrote:I noticed that all the dip switches are up so off. I may try turning it on to see if it still works. Sounds alittle wierd to think the engine will run without the keys in !!![]()
Thanks folks.
