Nice one DBO
I've got one very similar, so going to have a bash at this at the weekend, might have to pick your brains on this if that's ok?

Has anybody got pics of doing this mod, finding the reversing wire shouldnt be too bad, but how do you tidy it away neatly and make it weatherproof? Hope you don't mind me asking, I just would appreciate some advice from somebody who's been there and done it dont want to mess it up!

Re: Reversing lights/camera wireing
the one i have, the camera and monitor are the wireless type, the camers wires just connect to an earth and the other wire connects to the reversing wire in the light cluster,(sorry cant remember which one it is). the monitor again two wires one to earth and one to power (i fitted mine to a spare fuse from the leisure battery). i just ran the wires between the body work and the rubber seals to make a tidy job. hope this helps.

Thanks daveblueozzie that helps a lot. Got wireless infra red one from maplin (A30HN) that sounds like a similar set up, though it was a bit pricey it's got £30 off at the mo. The monitor suspect is a little different to yours, the sunvisor screens look good but this one suckers to the dash. Might just use with the 12v socket for now, but I like the idea of attaching it to the leisure battery so it's less of a temporary fitting.

Sounds good hotpot, dbo's monitor is quite nifty,as it is actually an extension of the interior mirror, and of the same dimension so doesn't look odd, very neat looking...
