Little black button with a red dot
Hi. Just got my Ford Freda yesterday. Pleased so far. To the right of the steering column there's a little black toggle swith with a little red dot on it. What does it do? Haven't pressed it yet in case its the ejector button.

Yep, most likely rear fog light, but make sure you're not too attached to whoever is sat in the passenger seat just in case

You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

How come a 2nd switch is requird for the fog light?Just checked the wiring and it simply connects up to the original fog light switch on the dash.
I also have a similar switch on the left of my steering wheel that connects to the 12v cig plug (this wire is fused) whilst the 2nd wire is not connected / loose.

Good question. I don't have an original foglight switch so can't answer but maybe your Bongo had (front?) foglights and the vendor used the switch for the rear foglamp. Question then is where did the original foglights disappear to.HA106420 wrote:How come a 2nd switch is requird for the fog light?Just checked the wiring and it simply connects up to the original fog light switch on the dash.

I have factory fitted front fogs that eluded Customs & importers eBay eyes disguised as 4 kilo's of Moroccan.. & the rear fog takes a feed off that!

The switch on the left could be for a heated rear screen??

Cheaper by comparison to a race horse...
