Before refitting the undertray I would like to replace its heavily soiled
felt(???) lining.
Has anyone done this and what materials are involved ?
Alternatives
a) refit plastic tray without new lining
b) do not refit plastic tray at all
Undertray

Think a power washer may just destroy the felt, I tried cleaning mine with reasonable results, just using an old soft brush, some detergent & a hose. It'is amazing the difference in noise levels running with it off for a week after fitting the coolant hoses. I was getting severe paranoia with allsorts of new noises appearing everywhere
Happy now, all back together & normal noises

You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

I'd skip that option bongorant, that tray must offer some protection from the deluge of water that splashes up when hitting standing water hard enough?BonGoRANT wrote:
