If I remember right... push it to the side and ease it out.

Push to passengers side and drivers side will pull down, with a bit of help. I then used a flat blade screwdriver to release the locating lugs on the clear plastic lens.

I tried for ages to do this.

Sit in the passenger seat.
with both hands use as many finger tips a possible squeeze the dark plastic surrounding the light fitting around the straight sides of the right light lense.
As you squeeze slide/pull the whole unit to the left ie towards the passenger window, and pull down slightly,

Hope this helps

It's actually much harder to describe how to do it, than to actually do it... All i can add is that you dont play with it, be firm, it wont break!... You need to be more careful popping out the actual lens though

I found it to be the opposite on mine. Watched the video over and over again then tried it but it would not budge, there was a danger of the whole light being pulled away from the roof. My next door neighbour and my partner's son both had a go after watching the video but had no luck either.

Finally using a combination of the video method and prising the cover off with a screwdriver at the same time I was able to get it off with a few small scratches. Easier said than done for me.
