air con ?

put me air con on tonight to clear windscreen and what a bloody racket sounded like bongo falling apart :-k

very loud squeeling noise and grinding sound which got worse the more i was revving it so will have to check belts tommorrow only just had air con serviced about 3 months ago so should work ](*,) ](*,)

any suggestions PLEASE

If it hasn't been used for 3 months that may well be the problem. There is information on here somewhere about this, but a common problem here is our climate is fairly mild (honestly) and if the aircon isn't used the seals dry out.

This won't fix it, but may help prevent further trouble.

you sure theres not a cat in there, i can understand the squealing noise but the grinding must be the cats collar,

sorry the only sugestion ive got is the belts but the grinding dosnt sound good.

dreamwarrior if there was a cat in there i think it would have died but cant smell anything lol

i used the aircon about a week ago and it was fine
will have to investigate when light

its recommended that the air con is run for 5 minutes once a week to stop the seals going dry. maybe thats what you got stuck in there.
