Hey up,
I have exactly the same issue with my Bongo, but I don't understand how it can be the glow plugs themselves...
If the plugs are manly enough to get the van started first go on a cold morning, why are they then not manly enough to keep the engine happy from then on after ten seconds or so?
Wouldn't that then point to it being a sensor or switching problem?
I've trawled through loads of good advise on this forum and everything points to it being the glow plugs, but my engineer's mind just can't figure out why. Before I splash out the cash on some new beauties, I wondered if anyone can put me straight.
Cheers, Shad.
