Re: Team Muz in Scotland 2011

Beautiful pictures, makes you realise what Billy Connolly meant when he said ' there's no such thing as bad weather - you're just wearing the wrong clothes ! ' Team Muz clearly agree and show us all how to get out there and enjoy. :D Thanks for sharing your pics [ and making us want to get off the s...

Re: 2.0 or 2.5 Petrol

I RECKON YOU CHOSE WELL ! =D>

The v6 is a lovely motor. I haven't seen the freespirit conversion in person but always admired the pics i have seen. They look a genuine set up - be intersting to hear your feedback and see pics when done.

Re: RADIO

i have a halfords ripspeed DV720 cd/radio/motorised dvd [ see link] it is single din and easy to fit. excellent sound thru bongo speakers and good pic on dvd. currently reduced but plenty on flea bay second hand although they usually fetch £75 to £100 so new is better bet at £129.99. lots of others ...

Re: Rear lights fuse keeps blowing!!

i had exactly same problem. it turned out there was a dodgy connection on radio/bmw clock recently fitted which was shorting out. i reckon either clock or radio linked into the circuit which you are having problem with for dash lights/rear number plate/ rear lights. have you had radio or clock out r...

Re: 18.4 mpg - is this the worst ?

Not sure about other problems i was just going on Alacrity's latest post on fuel prformance recently i maybe wrongly assumed he had solved his problems , but either way he seems convinced enough to sell. i got his mpg wrong too - it is actually 20.7 !! i will get garage to look closely at the wheels...

Re: 18.4 mpg - is this the worst ?

tyre wear seems normal , if anything rear are lower but i haven't needed to replace in 2 or so years i've had it. Just checked and it seems i have an issue with pressure on at least 2 , stuck 40 in each and will check. i have a bit of a whine which i think may be rear diff, changed diff oil but no b...

Re: 18.4 mpg - is this the worst ?

18.4 mpg - is this the worst ?

just filled her up after a measly 323 kms to tank full [ approx 200 in mormal short runs , shops etc and 120 odd motorway at steady 65-70 ]. so 49.4 litres equates to 18.4 mpg. Any suggestions before i look for an alternative? i'm used to 23/24 mpg and late 20's on good run so what's changed ? surel...

Re: hi new here and need help ASAP

if vin number begins SGL3 it is 2 wd if it's SGL5 it's 4wd. you will find vin on log book or plate on passenger door jalmb. Alternatively look for front drive shafts underneath. if you've done over 200,000 miles [ or kms ] in 3 years i dont think your bongo owes you much ! oops - beaten to it !! Got...

Re: DIY add on alarm to Sure Temp Sensor

Personally i cant wait to see your completed conversion and the other electronic mods you are contemplating. If everything else is anywhere near as good as your work on this project it will be well worth waiting for. i know you say it's basic electronics and i'm up for having a go once you've dotted...
