I just used a very cheap kit from Ebay about £10 I think, make sure you solder it in and don't use switch locks

Mine is a Tintop with a small dent on one arch and could do with the arches repairing so I asked a bit less, it will sell at Easter no problem as prices tend to increase once the weather improves.
Look for one they had had for a long time and not just bought a Dud and selling it on

I am currently selling my diesel Bongo, in the five years I have owned it its been fantastic, personally I would buy the diesel.
The price I feel is a bit steep as loads about for £2000 less so have a good look around

As far as I am aware none of the vehicle manufacturers use it.
Personally I don't see any advantage.
The less pressure thing I feel is so small it will make no difference, the system is only under a small amount of pressure.

Its all down to time, have you the time to repair it and the skills? My MOT man told me a tale of a young lad who spent all his money and time with his Dad welding an old car, he said it was so hard to tell him that the welding wasn't any good and would all have to be done again. Well Bertie is now in the sales section at a cheap price as the insurance runs out soon.
