Oil leak on the passengers side lot of white smoke.
When engine running and ht leads are removed something is conbusting but he does not know what is causing that it might be something to do with one of pipe was leaking petrol quite bad onto the engine. I did say to the garage when picked it up but ...

Thank you all for your advice. Can't go to bongo bash the cars not going because of the broken bits. Also I had someone from the facebook bongo site come and look at the work and he said he would not be surprised if one of the heads is not gone again. The aa man said it would be easy to fit as you just unplug the old one and plug in the new one. but being a woman I didn't look at it very well I should have taken a photo of it. All I know it was behind the ignition. if there is a diagram if the ignition I might remember which part I need.

A few days ago when camping, I switched on the ignition to close the blinds and smelt a burning smell but thought it was from somewhere outside the next day it started ok but then after stopping for a while I started it again and it made a horrible and a Lot of smoke came from the steering wheel ...

i don't want to diss the rac or aa but in the pass they have been no help only towing to the garage, but the bloke this time was good he checked the oil and showed me could do with a top up but was not below min mark, checked and showed me the selecter arm was working , went on to tell me a bit ...

thanks for the tip anymore would be welcome. both bongos are tintops, and the one i veiwed today i did put a deposit of £150 it holds it for a week it is a very clean bongo inside and out i test drove it and every thing was fine, as hubby said its a lot cleaner then mine and done half the miles. but ...

if vin number begins SGL3 it is 2 wd if it's SGL5 it's 4wd.
you will find vin on log book or plate on passenger door jalmb.

Alternatively look for front drive shafts underneath.

if you've done over 200,000 miles [ or kms ] in 3 years i dont think your bongo owes you much !
