Re: awnings..

I have got one of these. The first couple of times we put it up, I was ready to cut it up and put it in the bin! The third time (lucky) I was helped by someone who was tall, and it went up much quicker and easier.
I have now bought a little step, which I'm sure will help!
I use the pole that comes ...

Re: Help....Drive Away Awning smallest with sleeping advice

OK, just got back from another great weekend away and am getting more used to the Easy Camp Silverstone . The problem seems to be that I am just not tall enough to clamp the rail to the van! Got some help this time, and it was easy. I also managed to take it down on my own, just needs a bit of ...

Re: Help....Drive Away Awning smallest with sleeping advice

I have had no problem having a tent pitched next to the van. I don't use electrical hook up, just find a quiet corner :D .
Not sure about fixing to ykk, sorry!

Re: Help....Drive Away Awning smallest with sleeping advice

Hello,
I recently bought the Easy Camp Silverstone. It is great, but awkward to fit to the tiny gutter on my Hightop. Can be done, but with much swearing  It would no doubt be better on a wider gutter.
It has loads of space for everything I need. Also, I can get changed without contorting my ...

Re: Vanishing coolant and hot heaters....

It turns out that there was also a tiny hole in one of the hoses, so the coolant leak was hard to find. Happy that it is fixed and running like a dream again :)

Vanishing coolant and hot heaters....

Hello all. I know that this topic has been well covered, but after searching the forum, I still can't find the answer to my problem. The coolant in my Bongo (Petrol, 1,990 cc) was going down at an alarming rate. I took it to my local garage who found the the thermostat had come away from its ...

Wing Mirrors

At the risk of sounding dim, can anyone tell me if it is ok to pull the wing mirrors in? The electric switch wiggles them around nicely, but I sometimes have to park on narrow streets and would like to pull them right in.
I don't want to just yank them in case it bu**ers up the electrics.
Thanks!
