I have got one of these. The first couple of times we put it up, I was ready to cut it up and put it in the bin! The third time (lucky) I was helped by someone who was tall, and it went up much quicker and easier.
I have now bought a little step, which I'm sure will help!
I use the pole that comes with it, and have bought some clamps, as the ones that came with it are inadequate. I fix the pole straight onto the gutter, don't use a figure of 8 thing.
We were so lucky with the weather last year that it has not been tested in rain or wind. I have not yet tried it as a drive away, but it seems pretty sturdy.
I can get it down and put it away on my own, and I am 5'3" and pushing 60!
After some initial teething problems, I like it. Plenty of room for stuff, table and chairs and dog beds
