Re: rear awning

Just to put this to sleep in our case. We eventuallly got a Khyam XL tailgate awning which was on special offer though still at the pricy end. It is an easy fit over the tailgate of our Bongo Friendee but not over sized at 2.10 x 2.10 plus 1.45 tunnel. 3 openings plus tunnel. VERY easy and quick to ...

rear awning

Hi. Has anyone found a smallish drive away awning which will fit at or to the rear of a Bongo. Rear door of Bongo able to open up inside the awning. We are having a split rear conversion in our new bongo and thought this would be the ideal extra room. There is a touring XS awning on the Bongo fury ...

Diesel smell after aircon

After aircon has been on for a bit and we park up there is a smell of diesel. A friend said we should run the aircon more often and for longer to clear it - is that the reason or should we check something else?

Re: stalling

I presume you know our garage and mechanic then, if you can write him off so easily? Just because he has worked on several Bongos doesn't mean he has blead the system before, or knows them inside out - Don't forget that we have a ferry crossing to access some of the recommended bongo menders and ...

Re: stalling

I note all your comments but think its just a bit unfair, unless you actually know the garage and mechanic - he looks after several of the many Bongos on the Island and has worked on ours since we had it. I was warned when I had my first car (too many years ago to admit now!) about 'Ali Baba and the ...

Re: stalling

Thought you might like to know the outcome - took our Bongo (Denzil) in for new glow plugs as it was just a bit iffy on starting and winter coming etc. Garage was also going to check about the conking out problem when they spied a bit of oil on side of engine and rang to say head gasket startng to ...

Same place every day. Does not do it after same milleage when coming home (no work shy jokes please!). Thinks ought to ...

Re: Electrics -

Can't get my head around all that 'how to load a picture' info! Will try harder after weekend when I'll also try and get a pic from the back or the switch. Hopefully Westward Leisure will get back and tell me what it was/is. There was a fridge, a dometic 3way but all the gas had been removed and it ...

Re: Electrics -

Thank you so much, I'll show the digrams and picture to Bongo mender and see what can be done. Yes I have a photo showing the little switch but how do I post it here?

Green light on Zig Cf8 went out and didn't re-appear even with new battery - took it in for check - it is working fine but the Battery Status PCB Board needs replacing - Zig still making the Cf8 but don't stock these parts any more apparently. Does anyone know where I could find this part? Can't run ...
