Re: Water Marks on Windows
The windows are factory fitted darkened glass. The marks are definateley on the outside. The volcanic ash theory sounds plausable. Might give the clay bar or bar cleaners friend a go. I guess it will take alot fo elbow grease too

Water Marks on Windows
After washing my Bongo I am always left with water marks on the glass, I have never tried to clean them until this week end. I washed as usual then to remove the water marks I tried windolene but the marks are still there.
Is there a way of removing them?

Re: Flashing roof light on dash.
I have beeping & flashing, if I raise the roof slightly then put it back down the beeping stops
I've looked at the link & it seems straight forward, just hope my tinkering skills are up to the job.
Thanks

Re: Carrying a surfboard on top
One tip I would offer is to tie a loop into the strap before threading the tail through the eye, then lead the tail back through the loop to give a 2:1 purchase on the strap. Give it some beans and tie it off with two half hitches. Done.
Not realy sure I know what you mean.

Re: Carrying a surfboard on top
I keep a dustpan & brush in the bongo, & use that to get most of it off.chipvan wrote:not sure the sand and the board bag rubbing on aft is a healthy idea?
So hopefully I don't end up with a hole in my roof

Re: Carrying a surfboard on top
Update -
I strapped the board on using the s/s eyes - there was no problem with movement whilst travelling so I was just over concerned.

Carrying a surfboard on top
There have been many discussions about this before & I opted for the stainless steel eyes to strap the boards on.
However when I stacked 2 boards on top of each other they moved so now I put them side by side with one edge slightly overlapping the other. this give no movment when travelling.
