Bit later than planned,but that the new disc and pads all round on today.
Front drop links also done if that sounds right

The noise comes from inside the switch box .have removed it from the door card and if u hold it to your ear you can hear the clicks

My bongo was doing the same last week,really struggling to start in morning,when it did start there was a good cough out the exhaust pipe then very shakey idle for few moments.
Since yesterdays service and new glow plugs fitted its back to smoke free smooth idle 1st time starting.

Parts fitted

Got new exhaust system,glow plugs,air/oil filter,oil all done.
Disc n pads next week and the bongo be good for plenty more miles.
The drivers window switch packed up this afternoon,:( so if anyone got
a working one going for sale drop us a pm.

Replacement Diesel engine

Hi,on the engine side of it,if further down the line the engine packed up,
What modern example(bmw,merc,japanese) 4,5,6 cylinder diesel engine apart from the normal bongo one would be able to be fitted in.

Dash switch

to the right of the steering wheel u have a switch to operate the rear heater,
next to this I have a blank switch where I was looking to fit a front fog switch into,
on removing the blank it has a wiring block conected to it.
Could anyone tell me what would be fitted there on other modelS and what ...

Oil change for diesel

Hi,just got engine oil filter and new oil to go in the bongo.

correct amount of oil for 2.5 diesel

we have used maxi cosi from the start right upto the tobi model our 2 1/2 yr old is in just now,very easy to fit and adjust with the wee one in it
