Split charge relay

I wonder if anyone can give me some advice. I had booked my dual battery Bongo in to have a split charge relay fitted with a local auto electrical firm. However they are saying that there usual supplier is to struggling to source one. Willington doesn't seem to have any kits available on e-bay right ...

Re: hissing noise

Just had the bongo checked out. Seems it was a snapped bolt on the engine air inlet (sorry don’t know proper technical terms). It had sprayed oil up over the inside of the drivers seat but Wayne the mechanic reckons its all fixable and shouldn’t have caused any damage.

Re: hissing noise

Thanks for that, I will have a search for related topics. Can I just ask if it is safe to use the Bongo until I get it sorted or could I do any further damage?

hissing noise

I have taken the bongo away for the first time this weekend driving for about 12 hours in total. I began to notice a hissing/whistling sound developing when I increase the revs. The power level seemed ok and temperature seemed to be constant, Has anybody got any ideas?

Thanks

Andrew

Hello, can I put us down as a tentative? Can firm up in a few days when I know more about other stuff that's going on. In all likelihood won't have the Bongo by then but it would be nice to meet other Bongo mad folks.

Bigdaddycain, sorry to disappoint. Not that Andrew!

Thanks for the welcome though. Definitely interested in coming along to a meet, with or without the Bongo. May not have it in time for the 3rd.

In the meantime will keep pottering around, absorbing info.

Cheers,
E
