Well the replacement part arrived and is now fitted.
Things are a bit different but still not right.
It idles better from cold for longer the goes rough as before.
I clear it by reving the engine a few times then it runs ok as normal.

Well I have now checked the solenoid and it has power and clicks on and off.
There is power to the glow plugs as well.

Any other ideas?

Looks like I have a job to do on Saturday morning. Battery out, battery tray out and tray support out and then I can get to it.

When I twist the stick the rear wiper goes but no water comes out. I have tried this with the bonnet open and there is no motor noise so I guess the motor is duff or there's a bad connection.
I can't actually see the pump because the second battery is in the way. Has anyone got any experience of ...
