Also, last night, when I broke down, I was without a phone......(left it in the other car with wife!!), BUT a good Samaritan, (a Bongo owner not in his Bongo) stopped to see ...

Electrical problems V6

First the 'charge' symbol lit up on the dash. It went out as revs went up. Then came on again. Pop into neutral, blip the throttle and it would go off, for a while. Then the 'ABS' light came on too, and the speedo and rev counter stopped working, and the gear box stopped shifting...........
All this ...

Re: Anyone risked life......... ? (V6)

Just had a look here : http://www.motuk.co.uk/manual_170.htm
and that pretty much confirms what I was thinking. We (Aero with OEM HiD) should be OK :D

Re: Anyone risked life......... ? (V6)

Hi all, thanks for your interest / replies. I had a quick look at the info on the AA site and the way I see it.....

“A car will fail if a mandatory headlamp cleaning or levelling system is missing, doesn't work or is obviously defective.”
... I interpret this to mean if they are fitted (and all ...

Bodywork - full respray

Would thoroughly recommend Good As New car body repair workshop in Llantwit Major for your Bongo's paintwork. Tris and his team have done an amazing job on ours, which had a full respray top to bottom including the freetop roof. We picked it up today and can't stop smiling. :D :D :D :D

Re: Cardiff Car Body Repairs - Arches

Hi Dom,

Just thought I’d see if you are still happy with your paint job, now its been a couple of months?

If you are, could you post up details of where and who did it please? I think we are going to treat our van for Christmas :D

Thanks

Re: Cardiff Car Body Repairs - Arches

Wow, that looks pretty good dom_e!! =D>

You must be happy with it? I thought the dark, reflecting bit in the pictures were your tinted window, initially, until I sussed out that it was the two-tone line!!

Thanks for keeping us all informed.

Watching this thread with interest as our van needs some TLC too and we are quite near Cardiff.

Hope everything comes out up to your expectations!
