To see attached from the guy working on my 02 V6 - I was under the impression there was only one ECU? Is there a separate transmission control unit?

Wiring
I'm going round in circles here for a wiring diagram - Geoff's website doesn't list a download any more, but the Flash emulator is noted.
My garage needs to know pin out from the ECU for the TCC solenoid, 2002/V6, and hopefully the resistance.
I've already done £500 on having it changed 3 years ago ...

Re: TCC Solenoid - new gearbox needed?
I'm _still_ going through this. Code reads as P0743. The solenoid for the V6 is different as I understand it; however, had mine changed Aug 2022 - but the fault has returned. Not sure if it's a wiring issue or one of the myriad sensors that feeds into the ECU.

Re: Ongoing V6 gearbox issue
Thanks for the comments, all.
@alacrity - I realise that now having looked at the ratios in the manual, however the situation remains the same.
Update from the last few days. From cold start, shifts up fine, including torque converter lockup, but within seconds of that last shift TCC will drop out ...

Ongoing V6 gearbox issue
Afternoon hive mind, bear with me while I recap.
Had an issue beginning earlier this year - HOLD light flashing, then not going into top once warm and >40mph. Code read as P0743 - TCC solenoid.
After much wailing and gnashing of teeth, put it into Royston's to have the solenoid changed, which he ...

Thanks Haydn/Geoff. It's still a valve block drop job then.

Code read problem
Morning all,
Would someone be good enough to give me an opinion on these codes - changed the ECU ECT sensor on Sunday following a P0116, now have these two(?) oddly only coming on over 40mph - clears overnight.
I think its P0117 (could be P1117?) and P1413, but couldn't swear to it - I'm going to ...

Re: V6 Fault code
There are indeed two - but only one test procedure for the vacuum path, so I assume thats for both... May try swapping them over. The centre (more forward one) energises on ign on, the rear one is the one controlled by the ECU pin 4J. I'll check all the hoses, but a cursory glance yesterday didn't ...

Re: V6 Fault code
Getting there then, Geoff! I did wonder how it would throw a code up. However, the manual refers to it as the PRC solenoid, not EGR.
I'll have the centre off today then and check the pipework, pain in the backside - there's two of the buggers and both test OK. I'll have a look at the engine bay temp ...

Re: V6 Fault code
Ah, I can see the confusion - as far as I can see there's no electrical connection to the PRC - the solenoid is separate.

Re: V6 Fault code
Cheers Geoff,
It isn't actually the PRC the fault points to, it's a little three port solenoid at the back between the two banks - two vacuum pipes, a vent to atomosphere via a filter and a 12v supply, the ground side controlled by the ECU.
All the testing per manual comes back OK, as far as ECU ...

V6 Fault code
Afternoon all..
Have a flashing HOLD light - can I just check my reading first: long flash, 1 short flash; long flash, 2 short; long flash, 5 short; long flash, no flash = P1250?
If thats right, it points to the PRC solenoid, located in the most inconvenient area for testing.
Nonetheless, test I ...

Re: E10 Fuel
Thanks Ian - I'll hang off the survey for now as this is the first tank, and I've only done about 150 miles.
