Re: Water temp gauge and heater
Thanks it’s a 2.5 diesel and yes the fuel economy is awful and cold in the cabin!! Have ordered new thermostat and water pump as was recommended to just do both together. Do you think a standard garage would be able to do this or best to take to a Mazda bongo specialist garage..unfortunately the ...

Water temp gauge and heater
I’ve noticed that my water temp gauge never really moves albeit very slightly and seems to be stuck in very low. Also the heat even on full never really gets very hot, though I don’t know if I’m just comparing to a newer car.
Just wanted to know if there is any link between water temp being low and ...

Side windows
So may be a daft question but do the side windows (on sliding door and opposite) supposed to open a bit via the black latch? I can see a couple of metal pins in the plastic cover that look to be stopping it from opening. Just wondered if this is standard not to open and if not what’s the best way of ...

taking out side windows
Have some factory fitted tinted windows looking to install but having probs removing old windows. I can’t get at the screw because of the black plastic cover. Looks like it has a couple of metal pins holding it in but just can’t remove them and don’t want to split it.
Any help or suggestions welcome ...

REtro fit remote central locking
Hi
Has anyone fitted an aftermarket remote central locking kit to a bongo and if so is it reasonably straightforward and recommendations of which ones to get?
Using the key is damaging the paintwork in the dark!!
Thanks

Headlamps
Hi
Are there any headlamp upgrades you can have? I’m not necessarily talking about halagen bulbs but more the lens cover or anything else. I have the usual tired looking lens but would love a more modern look - any help appreciated
Thanks

Engine won’t cut off
Hi just got a 97 bongo and on it’s second outing it’s engine won’t shut off even when the keys are out. Also there’s a high pitched beeping sound which sounds likes the lights are on warning but lights are definitely off. Could it be the solenoid? Also would the colder weather be screwing with it ...
